Snapper XD Cordless Electric Chainsaw Recall Alert

Recalled Product: Snapper 82-volt cordless electric chainsaws with Model No. ESXDCS82; Item No. 1696774; which was also included in a kit (includes battery and charger) as Model No. ESXDCS82K; Item No. 1687878.
Affected units were sold from January 2015 through October 2017.

Hazard: In the event of a kickback, the chain brake guard could fail to activate the switch intended to stop the motor, allowing the chain to continue moving.

Remedy: Stop using the product immediately and contact your local dealer for a free replacement.
