Now, we are on the hunt for a motivated Regional Technical Service Leader (m/f/d). This position is based in our German office in Viernheim, where we have our centralized technical service hub. However, this role has an international scope, covering technical service and product training for 3 regions: Central Europe (DACH, BNL, FR) & Southern Europe, Middle East, Africa, and India.

Our Viernheim office is home to a total of 27 employees working in Sales, Marketing, Technical Service, Finance or Administrative roles. This means you will be part of a small, close-knit team within a global company. The culture is open and collaborative, with short communication lines. You will have the opportunity to contribute directly to the company's success, with teamwork and flexibility at the core.

In this role, you will manage 3 Service Technicians, who provide technical support to dealers, distributors, and OEMs, who diagnose electrical and mechanical product issues, and who conduct quality inspections at the EMEA distribution center.

In your role, you will be given the opportunity to

  • Manage technical service and product training for Central & Southern Europe, Middle East, Africa and India
  • Develop and deliver theoretical and practical training for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing on technical content for product documentation.
  • Support sales with technical demonstrations and expertise.
  • Validate warranty claims and adjust warranty policies when required.
  • Travel to different countries for training sessions (up to 25%).

Who we are looking for:

  • You have a general education degree in a Technical Field with minimum 5 years proven work experience in a troubleshooting and repair capacity and min. 2 years leading a technical support team.
  • Track record of handling complex technical escalations and customer critical issues.
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering technical training programs for service teams, dealers, and OEMs.
  • Familiarity with modern learning methods, including digital training tools.
  • You have customer or technical support experience, preferably in an engine powered product service industry.
  • Besides German, you can perform your duties in English. Additional European languages are an advantage.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and problem resolution skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • You show a great willingness to get the job done yet, have an attention to detail.
  • You enjoy working in an international environment and collaborating cross-functionally in a dynamic environment.
