Briggs & Stratton Works with Walbro LLC to Add Electronic Fuel Injection Systems to Residential Engine Applications
EEM SHIFT™ technology will be exclusive to Briggs & Stratton® ride and zero-turn mowers
MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin (October 2, 2018) – Briggs & Stratton Corporation has entered into a supply agreement with Walbro LLC, a global manufacturer of electronic fuel injectors and other OPE engine systems. The agreement gives Briggs & Stratton the exclusive right to use Walbro's EEM SHIFT™ electronic fuel injection systems on Briggs & Stratton's single- and twin-cylinder engines for riding lawn mowers and zero turn radius lawn mowers.
The agreement will allow Briggs & Stratton to introduce industry leading, cost-efficient fuel injection technology to its line of residential-grade engines.
