One of the easiest ways to maintain your lawn mower for seasons to come is by using Briggs and Stratton’s Advanced Formula Fuel Treatment & Stabilizer. It’s the latest in fuel treatment technology that includes powerful additives to protect your fuel system. Whether putting your lawn mower or snow blower away at the end of the season or letting some time pass between uses, curbing your fuel’s degradation and protecting the your engine is crucial.

To protect your fuel system tank from corrosion, store your lawn mower filled with Briggs and Stratton’s Advanced Formula Fuel Treatment & Stabilizer sold online in our parts store or at your local Brigs & Stratton dealer. Unlike most fuel additives, the Briggs & Stratton Advanced Formula Fuel Treatment & Stabilizer keeps the tank full will minimize accumulation of moisture that causes carburetor-clogging rust. Briggs and Stratton’s Advanced Fuel Treatment & Stabilizer keeps fuel fresh for up to 36 months—well into next season. Add the Briggs and Stratton’s advanced fuel treatment and stabilizer according to package directions and then run the engine for a few minutes to circulate the solution through the carburetor.

Briggs & Stratton has displayed innovation in fuel additives with the release of the Advanced Formula Fuel Treatment & Stabilizer that aims to stop the harmful effects associated especially with ethanol blends which account for nearly 90 percent of all fuel sold in the U.S.. Ethanol-blended gas is especially prone to deterioration, leading to rust in the fuel tank, corrosion, gum build-up, and even severe engine damage. This is reflected in performance, yielding starting issues and rough running.

The Advanced Formula Fuel Treatment & Stabilizer fights the harmful effects of water separation. This fuel additive contains corrosion inhibitors that form a protective barrier on metal parts to prevent rust. Detergents help prevent gummy build-up on engine parts. A metal deactivator works to stop the aggressive chemical reactions caused by dissolved metal ions in the fuel. The net result: powerful protection for America’s favorite small engines.

What's the correct oil/gas mixture for a Snapper Snowblower Model LE3090e

Asked by: barbarian
Model LE3090e is not coming up in our system as valid. If you have the engines model and type number, you can check the engines operators manual for the correct mixture. Typically in a 50:1 mix it is 3.2 ounces of oil to one gallon of fuel.

I want to service my Hayter spirit mower myself. I want to know if there is an additive that will clean the carburetor. If not, do you need to take the carb off to clean it?

Asked by: bj1960
There is not an additive you can add to the fuel. You will want to remove the carburetor and clean it. Here is a link that will help you with this: http://bit.ly/15ihyvq

My gas seems to be "boiling" in the gas tank. Fuel line cover and heat deflector is in good shape. If cap is vented can it be cleaned?

Asked by: jak04
The fuel cap is vented. If it is blocked this can cause your issue. You will need to replace the fuel cap.
