Briggs & Stratton Wants to Know What You'd Never Change

Win A Lawnmower That Never Needs An Oil Change

MILWAUKEE, WI (February 26, 2015) ─ To celebrate the launch of Briggs & Stratton’s(NYSE:BGG) new EXi engine featuring Just Check and Add™, the company is turning to social media. The #neverchange photo promotion asks participants what they would never want to change. Whether it’s never wanting their kids to grow up or keeping a favorite team’s winning streak alive, Briggs & Stratton wants to see it.

Participants need to simply take a photo of something that they’d want to never change, provide a description, include the hashtag #neverchange and have their friends and family vote for a chance to win a cash prize and their own EXi-powered lawn mower. Entries for the #neverchange contest can be submitted via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram by March 22, 2015, full details can be found at

The EXi engine was made possible with improved air cleaner seals, cooler engine temperatures, and high-precision manufacturing. While the EXi Engine requires that consumers need to only Just Check and Add™ oil as necessary, regular scheduled maintenance must still be performed.* Additional features on the EXi Engine include the Briggs and Stratton Starting Promise**, which promises that your engine “will start in two pulls or we’ll fix it free” and the ReadyStart® starting system that requires no priming or choking-just pull for power. The EXi Engine is also the lightest in its class making it easy to maneuver. Other regular maintenance is simpler with an air filter that requires no tools to change and a larger fuel neck that is angled toward the operator making adding fuel easier. It is available on select Brute®, Craftsman®, Husqvarna®, Snapper®, Toro®, Troy-Bilt®, and Yard Machines® lawn mowers with a price range between $250 and $400.

*To learn more, go to or see complete details in the Operators Manual. Briggs & Stratton's standard warranty terms and conditions apply. Just Check & Add does not extend the warranty period. See for details.
