Can I vent exhaust out of an enclosed area?
Can I vent exhaust from my generator out of an enclosed area?
Operate the generator outdoors ONLY. DO NOT operate generator inside any building or enclosure (even if doors and windows are open.)
Place generator in a well ventilated area, which will allow for removal of deadly exhaust gas. DO NOT place generator where exhaust gas could accumulate and enter inside or be drawn into a potentially occupied building.
NOTE: Carbon monoxide gases produced by the engine can be deadly. Carbon monoxide is an odorless, colorless, poison gas. Breathing carbon monoxide can cause nausea, fainting, or death.
