The Briggs & Stratton spark plug you need to replace the 492167 is part number 796112S. The size of the plug is 13/16" and this is the size wrench needed.

I lost my plug gapper. Is the 696202 spark plug sold pre-gapped?

The plugs typically some gaped between .020" and .030". We would still recommend check the gap on the plug. You can get a new gap setter at a local Briggs & Stratton service center. Here is a link to help you locate the nearest center:

If your engine calls for a 799876, you must use that spark plug in the engine. Please do not use a different spark plug.
