Website Part Order Procedure

How do I identify the correct service part number(s) and order the part(s) I need through the Briggs & Stratton Shopping Cart?

  • Step 2: Locate your engine Illustrated Parts List (IPL) and *determine the correct service part number. Hint: The service part number is NOT the number located next to the illustration of the part.

    For more info, view the steps on how to Determine the Correct Part Number. Scroll past the illustrations in the IPL to match the reference number by the illustration to the Service part number.

  • Step 3: Visit our Lawn Mower Parts, Repair Parts & Maintenance Products section and search either by the service part number you wish to order. This will provide you with the part's price and the option to add it to your online Shopping Cart. You may also search by model number to find every service part available for your engine.

    Please be aware that although you may have a valid service part number, it may not be found by the part number search. Parts may be temporarily removed from online sale due to various issues. When these issues are resolved, the part number is then made available again for online sale.

    Once in the Shopping Cart, you will see if your part is in stock/available, your order's subtotal, and are given the option to continue shopping or to go the checkout and complete your order. Unfortunately, we do not offer any tax exemptions on website orders. For more information, please visit our "Sales Tax on Web site Orders" FAQ.

    *Make sure that you use the IPL to verify if the part is Type specific and/or date Code specific.
