Antique Repair Manual

We offer an Antique Engine Repair Manual (part #CE8069) for out of production Briggs & Stratton single cylinder engines manufactured between 1919 and 1981. This manual is available through our website in the Repair Manuals section, or via phone by calling (800) 444-7774 with either a Visa or Mastercard number.

A select number of Antique Operator Manuals are available for download/viewing from our Antique Operator Manuals FAQ.

Owner's Manuals and Illustrated Parts Lists for engines manufactured prior to 1965, or those that do not conform to the current five to six character Model Number standard (i.e. Models WM, ZZ, 5S, 8FB, 19, 23D, etc.) may be requested through our Contact Us page. Antique literature will be provided as PDFs via email if available.

The following are some places for information and/or parts sources for our older engines. Pay particular attention to the websites. There are pictures, charts, etc. on these older engines that may help you identify your engine.
