I opened the Carb on my B&S 10T802-0776-B1 to clean it, and a green

rubber part came out. I'm not sure what it is or where it goes? When I look at your Parts diagram the parts shown in the check valve assembly (913) might be what this is part of. But the picture doesn't show enough detail to tell. While looking at the diagram I noticed an o-ring (1218) shown that I did not notice on my carb. I am not sure what it is, or where it goes either.

For assembly instructions you will need to either contact a local service dealer or purchase a repair manual.

Clean out carb and replace needle and seat
Asked by: andybigboy
Sounds like there is still a clog in the carburetor. You will want to remove the entire carburetor and clean it. Here is a link that will help you with that: http://bit.ly/15ihyvq

What order do I replace the (2) gaskets on the carb

550 series Engine# 10T802-0776-B1 has a regular gasket and a diaphragm. Which goes first on the bottom of the carb against the spring? I put the new diaphragm on the bottom against the gas tank and the other gasket on top of it and it won't start and gas is seeping around the bottom. Thank you.
Asked by: raychwv
You will place the gasket on the fuel tank, then place the diaphragm and then the carburetor.

This could be caused by many different things. Have you changed the fuel? Check the fuel and the carburetor. For a proper diagnosis, please take the unit into an authorized Briggs & Stratton service dealer: http://bit.ly/opCQiP
