Nicole, Thank you for your reply, but how do I read the date code. The bottle I have says 073 12 180 what does that mean???

Asked by: 924DAH
It is Month Day Year, then the other numbers are the batch info. We are looking into the self life more closely at this time. We have seen unopened bottles of our original fuel stabilizer with an unlimited self life and at this time an investigation is on going to determine if this can be true for the advanced formula fuel treatment.

I see the stabilizer only has a shelf life of 2 years unopened. How do I know if I am buying stabilizer that is not sitting around for a year or two. Is their a way to read the code on the bottle to see when it was manufactured???

There should be a date code on the bottle.

FUEL TREATMENT

I JUST BROUGHT A FERRIS 700 DO U USE EVERY TIME YOU MOW THE FUEL TANK HOLDS 5.5 GAL SO I WILL PUT 1 OZ OF FUEL TREATMENT IN THE TANK WILL I NEED TO DO THIS EVERY TIME A MOW OR WILL THIS LAST THE WHOLE YEAR OR IS THIS TO BE ADDED WHEN MOWING SEASON IS OVER TO HELP STABILIZER THE FUEL IN THE TANK
Asked by: KTERRY
The fuel treatment will last in the fuel until is runs out, 1 ounce treats 2 and 1/2 gallons. This will keep your engines fuel fresh for up to 2 or 3 years, depending on which treatment you are using. Everytime you re-fuel make sure the fuel you are adding is stabilized with the fuel treatment.

Asked by: DON924
Shelf life is 2 years unopened, opened product should be OK as well for that long if its kept sealed.

Can B&S Advanced fuel treatment and stabilizer this be used in fuel injected automobiles?

The description references small engines, but does not mention if the product can be used when long-term-storing automobiles that have modern fuel injected engines.
