Rated 4 out of 5 by from Product is well designed 1150 27" snow blower was easy to put together, starts first pull. this unit blows snow 30ft no problem, I've blowing old shoveled piles 4ft high back with no problem, if anything to help this product be better would be faster backing up gears and the blower scoop leaks a little snow out on motor. fuel usage seems to be good 1 tank lasted 2.5 hrs approx.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Starts well This would be a fine product had some thought been put in the design of the key feature. As soon as any moisture(it is a snowblower)gets to the switch. it shorts out and kills the engine. 25 cents spent to waterproof the switch would have been well spent.Thoughtless and poor design

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty Solid Performer My B&S 1150 engine came with on my Ariens 28" snowblower. Overall this is a pretty good pairing. However, for the deepest snow, I wish I had the next-size-up engine. A 28" cut snowblower is really the limit for this level of power. Engine always starts easily and is reasonable on fuel. Stock fuel tank is good for about 3 hours of 100% throttle duty on my machine. I strongly recommend changing the engine oil by the 2 hour mark. Outdoor Power Equipment (OPE) engines shed a LOT of metal when they are new and you want this stuff out of your crankcase as soon as possible. See picture. Oil change could not be any easier and it only takes 20 ounces.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from unhappy owner I recently bought a snapper 27 inch snowblower with a Briggs 1150 engine, the blower starts great but when it runs it excessivly vibrates, it is so bad that after a short time your hands become numb
