Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very powerful engine I purchased an Pro 28 specifically because it had the 2100 Briggs. Living in the Boston area I'm sure glad I did this year! The engine starts well provided you start it on full choke and full throttle and is generally a one-pull start. I have not had to use the electric start. The motor is very quiet at lower speeds and sounds much like its Japanese counterparts although it is undoubtedly more powerful. You can even run the blower through 6 inches of snow at half throttle and it still works better than your box-store low end blower.I'm very glad I went with the Pro/Briggs combo.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Mine was not serviceable from the factory. I bought an Ariens Pro 28 snow blower with this motor. After the first start up it left a puddle of oil on my garage floor. The oil was leaking from under the motor and NOT from the drain tube or nut. I took the snow blower back to Home Depot for a refund.
