Spark Plug Torque
What is the spark plug torque for your engines?
The specified spark plug torque range for our aluminum cylinder head engines is 7 - 15 ft. lbs. This should equate to about 1/16 of a turn (snug) after turning the plug in finger tight.
It's important to note that the MAXIMUM torque is 15 ft. lbs. (180 in. lbs./ 20 NM). Excessive torque may damage the threads in the head.
