ServisExpert® - The Memory For Lawnmowers
Briggs & Stratton have introduced the new ServisExpert® - a tool that is simple and efficient to use, which reminds users of the recommended service intervals.
Most gardeners are well aware that regular inspections help ensure any garden equipment, which uses a petrol engine, remains damage-free, reliable and environmentally friendly.
However, working out when the number of operating hours specified in the service booklet has been reached is generally down to guesswork.
The ServisExpert clips onto the handlebars of any petrol powered lawnmower. It measures the running time of the equipment by the vibrations of the motor and displays appropriate reminders of necessary service indications such as oil changes, swapping the air filter or a full service after 100 hours of operation.
The small digital device proves to be an excellent aid in maintaining a longer life span and optimum eco-friendliness during operation. It should be noted that regular care of a lawnmower reduces its use of fuel by up to 30% and harmful emissions by up to 50%.
The ServisExpert is very easy to install and operate, with its single control button. A large display screen shows when particular maintenance work needs to be carried out, using clear and easy to understand symbols.
Whilst the user can check the oil levels, Briggs & Stratton recommends that for all other maintenance the machine be taken to an authorised dealer. The dealer then has the opportunity to glance over the other parts of the lawnmower and carry out necessary maintenance work or blade sharpening where applicable. The nearest dealer can be found on the website www.servisexpert.com and this address also appears on the display screen of the ServisExpert.
The recommended retail price for the ServisExpert is £ 9,99 including VAT.
