Very reliable and efficient engine - superb quality
I bought this engine a few months back as a replacement engine for a large cylinder mower, and it is the best thing I have ever done for that mower. It always starts first pull even in the cold and is surprisingly fuel efficient. The engine doesn't seem to be bothered by loads, obviously within it's range as you can't ask a 6 odd horsepower engine to do the job of a 13 horsepower, and so far it hasn't even stalled out on me when cutting thick grass so I'm very impressed with it. The only slight problem is it is a bit noisy, it has a lovely mellow exhaust note but it's loud, although this can be avoided by using a different muffler as I believe there are a few options I could've chosen instead, but it's not a big problem for me. Overall I'm very impressed with this engine and would highly recommend it over something like a Honda clone engine, it is so much more reliable and better built and of course there's Briggs and Stratton there to help if necessary, it's a superb engine and I highly recommend it :)
