We are using the Model 20 in the Baja buggy competition and I was wondering where to find the more detailed specifications, specifically interfacing to the "kill switch" which we wan mounted on the dash.

Unfortunately, per SAE rules, we are restricted as to the information we can provide you. This is so as not to provide a competitive advantage to any one group for SAE Mini Baja. The following links should help: http://students.sae.org/competitions/bajasae/ Our site does have box dimensions: http://www.briggsandstratton.com/us/en/engines/racing-engines/model-20

What horsepower is the model 20 briggs motor? I know you switched to torque, but I want to know the HP.

Asked by: I want a go kart
I am sorry but since we only have torque on this specific engine we do not convert it. Also our engine are for use only in sanctioned racing events, not recreational vehicles such as go karts.
