World Formula Manufacturing Update – October 1st, 2011
On October 1st, Briggs & Stratton Racing began custom machining the cylinder deck surface on all World Formula racing engines. “Following in the steps of the Animal program, custom machining the deck surface on each World Formula engine allows us to provide the utmost consistency on the market today. Cost-effective racing is about repeatability and this effort is the length a company passionate about racing goes in order to support their racers” – Stated Dave Klaus, Director-Briggs & Stratton Racing.

The current maximum factory piston pop-up has not changed. This custom, secondary machining operation will leave a slightly different surface appearance.
