Animal/WF Metric Rocker Arm System

We have been asked about the recent change to the metric rocker arm system, what the new part numbers are, is there any performance advantage to them, or will there be any need for rule changes?  I just wanted to take a moment to answer this for everyone.

The change was based on our vendor’s unwillingness to continue manufacturing this system exclusively for us, in low volume, at a reasonable price.  The new system passes all current WKA/IKF rules currently in place. Dimensionally the rocker arm length, the rocker ball, and the ratio are all the same.  This system is an improvement in many ways.  First, racers will notice the stud is beefier then the current stud.  The rocker ball snub screw is also larger making it easier to torque because a larger wrench can be used.  The only noticeable change to the rocker is that the slot is opened slightly to accommodate the larger stud.  The Briggs logo will not be on the initial pieces.  This logo ID is in process.  Again, there is no performance difference what-so-ever.

192: 797440 Rocker Arm Adjuster Kit

Contains: Stud, Stud Set Screw, Rocker Ball/Nut

830: 797441 = Stud

155: 797442 = Stud Plate (Includes Gasket 993: 694088)

1029: 797443 = Rocker Arm

Rocker Ball/Nut (Only Available in 797440 Kit)
