ASN Canada 2012 Support Program Announced

Briggs & Stratton and ASN Canada FIA Announce Support Package for Canadian National Kart Racing Championships.

April 20, 2012 –  Canadian kart racers participating in ASN's Briggs & Stratton LO206 4-cycle classes in the 2012 Western Canadian Karting Championship Series and the Eastern Canadian Karting Championship Series will benefit from the support of Briggs & Stratton.

For the above two Series, Briggs and Stratton will provide a $100.00 CDN payment to each driver of a Briggs and Stratton entry that competes in a minimum of 4 races in their respective series.

For the 2012 ASN Canada FIA Canadian Karting Championships at Mont Tremblant on August 24-26, each of the top three winners in the Junior, Senior and Masters classes will receive a silent-running portable generator award. In addition, there will be a case of Amsoil oil for each class final race to be awarded to the "Hard Charger" driver in each race.

David Klaus, Briggs & Stratton's Racing Director will be in attendance at Mont Tremblant to personally hand out the awards.

"The LO206 purpose-built sealed engine package introduced for the 2011 season really took off across Canada, and we are looking for a great 2012 season. It's all about the drivers in the Briggs classes".

"At Mont Tremblant last year the top ten Juniors all qualified within one second and the top seven Seniors were within one second. Now that's racing at an affordable price!".
