Briggs & Stratton Invites GIE+EXPO 2007 Attendees To Power Up!

Win an Array of Power Equipment in the Power Up Giveaway

Milwaukee, WI-October 2, 2007- Briggs & Stratton Corporation invites GIE+EXPO 2007 attendees to learn more about what the “The Power Within” really means while at the same time have a chance to win big in the Power Up Giveaway. One lucky winner will walk away with a truckload of equipment powered by Briggs & Stratton engines.

To enter the giveaway, attendees must present a completed Power Up Entry Card and have their official registration badge swiped at the Briggs & Stratton Welcome Desk. A Power Up Entry Card is complete when it contains three punches, each from a different Briggs & Stratton exhibit area (exhibit areas are clearly marked at the show).

For example, at the designated Commercial Power display, attendees must view a presentation on the Vanguard® BIG BLOCK™ engine; at the designated Service Display, attendees must identify genuine Briggs & Stratton parts.

A drawing from all qualified entries will determine the grand prize winner, who will receive:

• 12kW IntelliGEN Home Generator System (including up to $2500.00 for installation of the system)
• 2550 MAX PSI Elite Series Pressure Washer
• 2000 Watt Elite Series Portable Generator
• 4 Gallon, 125 PSI, 2.2hp Air Compressor
• 5.5 hp 2-inch Self-priming Water Pump

Total estimated retail value of the grand prize package is $5,500, plus actual cost of installation for the Home Generator System, not to exceed $2,500.

A second chance drawing will be held following GIE+EXPO. All registered attendees who supply an email address on their registration form are eligible to enter via email by completing a short Briggs & Stratton survey. Three winners will be selected in a random drawing, each receiving $500.
