Clover can be managed by applying a three-way herbicide (this may take more than one application) or a three-way plus quinclorac, such as Ortho Weed-B-Gon Plus Crab Grass Killer.
Clover is often a sign of poor soil fertility. You may want to have your soil tested to see what amendments can be made. Also, be sure to fertilize your lawn on a set schedule (select your region from our Region Selector Map and then click the "View Calendar" link for information specific to your area) to help assure your lawn is getting the nitrogen and other nutrients it needs for healthy growth.
