Here are five ways you can use a pressure washer to speed up a job that would otherwise take hours, if not days:

  • Restore your weathered deck. With a pressure washer, you can clean your deck in a fraction of the time it would take to do it with a hose, bucket and brush. A quick rinse will remove surface dirt and a thorough wash can strip away layers of old sealer/preservative to prepare the surface for refinishing.
  • Clean your patio. Return your brick or stone to its original beauty quickly with a pressure washer. If you have mold or mildew problems on the patio, add a mold and mildew remover to the detergent.
  • Power wash off stains your concrete garage floor and driveway. Even oil and grease stains can be removed with a pressure washer. A degreasing detergent will help break down the bond between these unsightly stains and your concrete, washing them away.
  • Clean your fence. A pressure washer will help you clean any type of fence, from wood to vinyl to chain link. A quick, high pressure rinse is all it takes to restore vinyl to its original glossy finish. Wash your wood fence in sections, from top to bottom, using a wide spray pattern and moderate cleaning power. Chain link and wrought iron can be restored to their original shine because the pressure washer reaches all those irregular, tight places.
  • Make your siding look like new. Even a task that sounds this daunting is really quite easy when you use a pressure washer. Use a wide spray pattern on your siding and work from the bottom to the top of the house.

Once you have used a pressure washer, you will likely never go back to the "old way" of cleaning around your yard. For information on how to choose and use a pressure washer.
